“But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.”
Paul and Silas did not wait for the prison doors to open before they sang.
At midnight, wounded and chained, they prayed and sang praises to God
—and heaven heard them.
God delights in our songs on the cheerful days.
But when suffering comes, and we still choose to praise Him,
our worship says something deeper:
You are still worthy.
You are still good.
You are still God.
When the battle rages, worship.
God wants to Hear You Sing
